More Key Democratic Figures Unite Behind Welch’s Bid for State Central Committeeperson
More Democratic leaders from across Illinois’ 7th Congressional District have joined the surge of support for House Speaker Emanuel ‘Chris’ Welch to become the next 7th District State Central Committeeperson.
Today, Team Welch rolled out more endorsements from 7th District community leaders including: 1st Ward Committeeperson Laura Yepez, 2nd Ward Committeeperson Tim Egan, 36th Ward Alderman and Committeeperson Gilbert Villegas, 43rd Ward Committeeperson Lucy Moog, and Cicero Township Village President and Committeeperson Larry Dominick.
These endorsements continue the groundswell of support for Welch to have a seat at the table representing these diverse and growing communities on the Democratic Party of Illinois’ governing committee.
