Democrats for the Illinois House Close Fundraising Quarter Strong

Democrats for the Illinois House are closing this quarter strong. In addition to over $12 million raised under the leadership of House Speaker Emanuel “Chris” Welch, individual members are also reporting major gains this quarter.

Rep. Maura Hirschauer who sponsored strong legislation for women’s reproductive health raised nearly $50,000. Rep. David Vella and Rep. Lance Yednock raised over $55,000 this quarter. Rep. Suzanne Ness raised over $114,000. Rep. Mark Walker raised over $100,000 and Rep. Janet Yang Rohr raised over $200,000. 

During this legislative session, members have celebrated victories for women’s rights and passed the fourth consecutive balanced budget while also investing in public safety and economic relief for families. Now with strong fundraising, they are ready to power forward into a strong election season.
